Me olvidé de varios productos a los que les tengo que hacer mención.

El bronzer de NYC en el tono "Sunny" fue el bronzer que más utilicé y ni siquiera parece que lo he usado, de verdad que me sorprende, es un tono maravilloso, aún no he encontrado otro que lo sustituya y si lo hago les haré saber.

During the filming of the video I forgot to include some of my favorites because I left them on my vanity haha, silly me.

This bronzer by NYC in "Sunny" was a shocked to me because I never expected it to be that good even tho I read reviews about it so I had to go get it and see for myself and thank GOD I did because I love it a lot, I haven't found anything that can substitute this one but when I do you'll be the first to know. 

Los labiales de MAC fueron mi descubrimiento en el 2012, mi primer labial fue Creme d' nude, maravilloso tono del que me enamoré desde el primer momento en que lo ví y de su formula también, es el que más he usado, y sin duda "Reel Sexy" de la Colección Reel Sexy fue de los más amados y no me lo quiero terminar por miedo a no encontrar un dupe o que no lo repromuevan, sin duda es de mis consentidos.

For fave lippies I forgot to mention this two MAC one's that I've worn a whole lot and you can tell by the look of the bullet. My first purchase was Creme d' Nude, I fell in love with it the minute I saw it, and it's formula which is a Cremesheen as well, you can see that I've worn it a lot, and with no doubt my second favorite has to be Reel Sexy from the Reel Sexy Collection and it was well loved and I do not want to use it anymore because I'm afraid I'm never going to see it again since I haven't found a dupe for it YET, I'll be waiting for it to be repromoted so I can buy 10 of this haha ok, maybe just 2 more :D

Labial MAC - Reel Sexy (Edición Limitada/Limited Edition)

No imaginé que esta sombra de Avon fuese a convertirse en mi favorita cuando llegó, fue una sombra multipropósito que compré especialmente para iluminar y la amé, de tanto usarla y cargarla por accidente la tiré pero aún luce muy bien y es bastante amada.

I never imagined that an Avon eyeshadow was going to become a favorite of mine when I got it, I use it for a lot of things, mainly as a highlighter and I love it, that one traveled a lot with me soooo one day it just fell and broke a bit but it's still good and it's well loved.

Los rubores que no mencioné en el vídeo fueron los de Sleek y particularmente este trío en el tono "Lace" que a pesar de que no se nota la verdad es que lo he usado bastante, y no se nota porque la pigmentación es tan buena que de verdad tomas muy poco producto para aplicarlo, estoy a la espera de un nuevo trío y de verdad que estos me durarán la vida entera, los amo.

As for the blushes that I forgot to mention on my video there were three in one palette which is the Sleek Palette in Lace with those 3 amazing beautiful colors, two mattes and one with very fine gold flecks thats absolutely amazing and  it's clearly a good dupe for NARS Orgasm. It might not look like I have used them but its because you only need so little because, yeah, a little goes a long way with those super pigmented blushes, they are well worth it and they are not even that expensive so go get you some!

 

 Mis favoritos no serían favoritos sin mencionar a las famosas Color Tattoo de Maybelline que fueron mi amor, como prebase para sombra, como simples sombras, realmente es que son MARAVILLOSAS y aunque no a muchas les gustó este tono la verdad es que yo lo amé y lo seguiré amando.

My favorites wouldn't be favorites without mentioning Maybelline Color Tattoos that were my true love as an eyeshadow base, as simple eyeshadow because they are AMAZING and althought not so many were fans of this gold one the truth is that I loved it a lot and you can see I've dipped in haha.

 

Y ahora vamos con los favoritos por categoría, no voy a explicar mucho al respecto porque ya lo he hecho en el vídeo.

Mis productos para el cabello favoritos como siempre el protector de calor de Tresseme que siempre es un constante, y la fórmula de los shampoo's Sedal cambió bastante y me agradó mucho el Sedal Liso.

My favorite hair products as always Tresseme heat protectant spray had to be there, its always there tho, and the formulation of Sedal's shampoo has really improved so thats why I'm including them because they really surprised me.

Como si no tuviese suficientes labiales favoritos aquí les muestro dos lipbutters, dos labiales de revlon, tres labiales de bissú y, finalmente 4 labiales de Moon Amie (puede leer la reseña aquí)

As if I didn't had enough favorite lipsticks here I have more, two lipbutters, two revlon ones, three from Bissú which is a mexican brand, and 4 Moon Amie that are also from a mexican brand commanded by only one girl at the moment (you can read the review for those lipsticks right here)

Para el rostro BB cream fue lo que más utilicé este año, mi polvo favorito al contrario de lo que muchas piensan no es uno de color porque aún no encuentro mi favorito así que de momento el Fix&Matte de Essence lo es y para rubor, nuevamente Bissú 02 en Arena (que es el nuevo nombre de los rubores que también tienen nuevo formato y pronto se los mostraré).

For my face the one and only thing that I used the most was BB cream, my favorite powder wasn't a colored one because I haven't found one for my needs so in the mean time Fix&Matte de Essence will do, for blush again a Bissú product number 02 in Sand (Arena in spanish) (which is also the new name that those blushes have and I'll soon show them to you).

 

Para los ojos no es sorpresa que el primer de ELF haya sido mi fascinación junto con el jumbo de Sharisse que de ese quiero como 10, los tintaline de Bissú que compiten muy bien con los 24/7 de Urban Decay, dos sombras más de Bissú en el tono "Marfil" y "Chocolate", un cuarteto de sombras de Starry y una paleta de Nyx "Nude on Nude", así como el lápiz para cejas de Catrice en "Date with Ashton", máscara de pestaña favorita para la noche, Stiralash de CyZone y Céramidas de IM para el día, además por su contenido de aceite de hueso de mamey fortalece y nutre las pestañas.

As for the eyes its important to say that ELF eyeprimer was a shocker, I really works well, it might not be the best primer out there but it does perform quite nicely on the eyes, also that Sharisse jumbo that has skin color its amazing, you can get it in México City I dunno if someone in the States would be able to get it but its amazing, not waterproof but for a daily basis works good, two more shadows from Bissú have to be "Marfil" and "Chocolate", a little palette from Starry and one from Nyx "Nude on Nude"; Catrice brow pencil in "Date with Ashton" became a favorite as soon as i tried it on, for mascara I'd say CyZone Stiralash for night out and Ceramidas by IM for everyday use because of its natural ingredients such as bone mamey oil that nurture the lashes and makes them stronger.

 

 Los esmaltes de uñas fueron dos de Collection que no tienen nombre, el primero para otoño, el segundo para verano, el tercero para otoño también fue el "Velvet Rope" de Revlon Colorstay, para primavera y algo del verano "For Audrey" de China Glaze y para primavera completamente "Touch of Mauve" de Revlon.

Nailpolish wise i have here two of Collection but they do not have names, the first one you see for fall, the second one for summer, mostly mid summer, the third one for fall too, its "Velvet Rope" by Revlon Colorstay line, for spring and some days of summer "For Audrey" de China Glaze and for a spring color I had to choose "Touch of Mauve" by Revlon.

 

Y finalmente pero no menos importante, mi humectante labial favorito tiene que ser mi EOS en "Sweet Mint"

And last but not least, my favorite lip balm has to be my EOS in "Sweet Mint"

Mi look en Dscuento

¡Hola hermosas!

Bienvenidas al 2013 y arrancamos compitiendo en el concurso que Dscuento y Moda-Capital tienen para los bloggers de México. De ganar éste concurso, haré uso del premio en la tienda Dafiti en Dscuento.

La temática es "Saturday Night Look" por lo tanto me inspire en esas salidas nocturninas que se dan el fin de semana, puedo decirles que me imaginé hasta el maquillaje para usar con este outfit.

Para hacer mi búsqueda me la pasé navegando en el sitio de Dscuento que es una web en donde puedes ahorrar dinero comprando en línea a través de cupones de descuento, códigos promocionales y ofertas reunidas de tiendas online y outlets de venta privada.

Navegando en los demás portales que tiene Dscuento me encontré con muchísimas cosas para complementar mi outfit para este concurso.

El vestido que escogí lo encontré en la página Dafiti, es de la marca Amori, negro y sin mangas con detalles en beige y un resaltado en rojo en el borde de la falda, un clásico vestido con el estilo colorblock elegante y apropiado para una noche en la ciudad. Su precio es de $999.00 pesos mexicanos.

El bolso estilo clutch lo encontré en Palacio de Hierro; es de la marca Huser y es hermoso, desde que lo ví me enamoré, tiene un estilo único que le va no sólo a esta ropa y ocasión (en mi opinión). Las aplicaciones verticales le dan un toque sofisticado y los bordes redondeados lo hacen ver diferente del tipico clutch cuadrado. Su precio es de $399.00 pesos mexicanos.

Los botines que escogí los encontré en Dafiti, me enamoraron a pesar de ser tan simples, pero el color me parece hermoso y combinable tanto con el vestido que escogí como con un jumpsuit en color negro. Son de la marca Steve Madden con tacón de 15 centímetros y plataforma de 5 centímetros, de piel con suela sintética. Su precio es de $1819.00 con el 30% de descuento que tienen ahorita en la página.

Y finalmente, accesorios; opté por un reloj simple pero elegante, me gustó por el color que tiene y el diseño, el que yo tengo es parecido pero sin la elegancia que este le aportaría para la ocasión nocturna perfecta. De la marca DKNY el reloj es el modelo NY8595 con carátula madre perla y diversas incrustaciones de finos cristales pulidos y correa de diseño cruzado con acabado en oro rojo. Éste definitivamente se va a mi lista de deseos. Lo encontré en Palacio de Hierro y su precio es de $2709.00 pesos.

El total de mi compra fue de $5926.00 pesos. Personalmente considero que escogí algo clásico, elegante y juvenil para una noche con amigos o una cena casual con tu persona especial.

Esta es la paleta completa, consta de 20 sombras con diferentes acabados, matte, satinado, brillosos, glitters.

Tienes una gran variedad de tonos para que los puedas utilizar en cualquier ocasión, es una paleta muy versátil a mi parecer y la NUEVA formulación de las sombras de Urban Decay es fantástica y eso lo compruebas con las sombras matte.

Ploombox Diciembre / December Ploombox

¡Hola!

Como muchas de ustedes ya saben las cajas con suscripciones mensual recurrente, trimestral, semestral y, algunas, anual; ya llegaron a México.

La semana pasada hice mi pedido de la Ploombox, adquirí la suscripción mensual recurrente (puedes cancelar tu suscripción con 15 días de anticipación para que no te hagan el cargo a tu tarjeta de crédito/débito), y el día de hoy jueves llegó a mi domicilio. As most of you know monthly suscription boxes have arrived to México.

Last week I purchased my PloomBox, I payed for the monthly suscription and this one can be cancelled 15 days before so they don't charge it in your credit card. 

My box arrived today, if you want to see it in more detail you can watch my vídeo on YouTube and while you are at it, suscribe.

El empaque está hermoso, venía con un listón blanco y una tarjeta con la leyenda "Feliz Navidad" que lindo detalle, de entrada se ve que se toman la presentación muy enserio y que, además, le ponen empeño y esmero a los detalles, kuddos al equipo de Ploombox.

Lo que a mí me enamoró para suscribirme fue el empaque, ya saben que estoy loca/obsesionara por el verde menta, turquesa, etcétera, por eso me ganaron.

The packaging is what draw me to buy it, it came with a white ribbon and the leyend "Merry Christmas" it was a nice little detail, you can tell that they take their time into those things which is most appreciate it, kuddos to Ploombox's team.

Aunque el papel por dentro fuese de un simple color blanco eso significa que tampoco saturaron de tanto color la caja, con ello luce simple y elegante, eso sí, quizá agregarle un listón dorado le hubiese dado un tono algo navideño (mi opinión).

Althought the wrapping paper was white and simple it shows that they didn't want to make it look so scandalous but more neat and classy, maybe a touch up of gold for the season would've been a nice thing, in my opinion.

La tarjeta venía por la parte del frente con la siguiente leyenda:

"Queridas PloomFans:

Navidad. La propia palabra llena nuestros corazones de alegría. No importa cuántas prisas tengamos, los regalos navideños por comprar y las felicitaciones que nos quedan por hacer. Ojala pudieramos meter el espiritu navideño en una caja y abrirlo cada ves que deaseamos. Por eso PloomBox creo lo más cercano, el kit perfecto para consentirte en estas fechas!!! En esta caja encontraras todos los productos necesarios para darte ese apapacho.

The front card came with the next leyend:

Aún no he probado ninguno de los productos pero se ven muy bien, la caja que escogí fue la mensual de $189.00 pesos mexicanos, es muy seguro que cambie mi suscripción a una de tres meses para probar las otras cajas y decidir si vale la pena o no quedarme con el servicio, de momento no estoy descontenta pero sí hubieron cosas que se pudieron mejorar, si quieres saber más al respecto puedes ver mi vídeo haciendo clic aquí.

I still haven't tried any of the products but they look really good, the box that I picked was the monthly one, and it costs $189.00 mexican pesos, that in dollars would be around 15 dlls. Its possible that I change my suscription to the three month one to try and see if it's really worth it, as of right now Im pretty happy although I think there are some things they could've improved. Apertura de la primer tienda física de Sigma / Opening of the first Sigma Store in Minnesota

¡Sorpresa, sorpresa! 

Sigma abrirá éste Lunes su primer tienda física en Estados Unidos en el Mall of America (MOA).
¿Te imaginas cómo será? Ir a comprar brochas ahora será totalmente una experiencia así como todas las nuevas cosas que Sigma está preparando para nosotras, además, el poder juzgar a la vista los productos.

Suertudas las que viven en el area de Minnesota, aquí en México tendremos que esperar mucho para que suceda pero confío en que, algún día, sucederá.


Por lo pronto les comunico que el día de mañana subiré al canal una guía para comprar en la web de Sigma, espero que les sirva de ayuda y recuerden que el código de descuento para comprar ya está en el banner de la derecha hasta arriba.

Sigma beauty will be opening it's first store in the Minessota area, to be more specific, inside Mall Of America.

Lucky you american girls, you'll get to go in, see the brushes, makeup and all of their products, try them and buy them, how exciting.

In the mean time here in México we will have to wait 'till they decide to reach us, I really trust it'll be soon.

Reseña crítica: Sleek "Storm" Palette/ Sleek "Storm" Palette review

 ¡Hola!

Regreso con las reseñas y hoy le toca a una marca que poco a poco se convierte en mi favorita, Sleek, originaria de Reino Unido y considerada como una marca buena, bonita y barata en Europa.

Definitivamente era una marca de la que quería probar rubores, sombras y aún me falta hacer un pedido de labiales.

I'm back with the reviews and today its Sleek's turn, a brand that has become my favorite in bits.
Sleek is from United Kingdom and its considered a low cost brand, good, pretty and most important cheap in Europe.
 

 Tamaño

En la fotografía se puede apreciar la comparación que he hecho con un rubor de bissú y es, aproximadamente del largo de dos compactos de la marca y de alto es, aproximadamente unos dos centímetros más que el compacto de Bissú.

¿Por qué decidí comparar con Bissú? Porque es una marca accesible para las mexicanas y considero que muchas de ustedes pueden relacionar el tamaño, ojalá así sea.

Las medidas son 13 cms de largo por 7 de ancho (aproximadamente).

Es una paleta delgada, perfecta para llevar en el bolso o para viajar por ella por su tamaño y su formato "Sleek" (pulcro, limpio, liso, estético).

Size

In the picture you can see the comparison that I did with a blush (from a mexican brand) and its aproximately two of those compacts (large). Its pretty much as the name says, Sleek, I can honestly tell you that's pretty and thin, you can easily travel with that one or put it in your bag and if you run out the door.

Colores

 Aquí les presento la gama de colores completa que va desde los perfectos para el día (aperlados) hasta los colores para un ahumado clásico hasta uno con variaciones de color.

Colors

 Here are some shots of the colors, there you have perfect shades for an everyday makeup look to more pearl shades up to some dark colors for a smokey eye with some variations in color with the green and blue in it oh and lets  not forget about the burgundy, wine gorgeous color.

Los tonos no tienen nombre, desafortunadamente, pero van desde el dorado claro, el beige claro, el café claro hasta el café oscuro, un gris parecido al Gunmetal de Urban Decay, un verde bosque profundo muy llamativo.

This palette has no name for its shadows which is not that good because I hate to call them pretty green and dark blue. 
That greyish metally color (if metally isn't a word now it is) is sooooo close to being a dupe for Gunmetal from Urban Decay. All of those shades are gorgeous.

De este lado tenemos a un dorado un poco más oscuro que el de arriba, un rosa metálico, el tono vino o borgoña que es perfecto para otoño, un azul profundo bellísimo que tiene más de azul que de negro, un café chocolate y, finalmente, el clásico tono negro que no debe de faltar en ninguna paleta.

From this side we have a gold which is a little bit darker than the one on the top, a metallic rose, that beautiful wine/burgundy color perfect for fall and a deep blue that has a lot of black in it, a dark chocolate brown and finally a classic for a palette making this a good to travel palette, a matte black shade.

Tamaño de las sombras.

Y bien, aquí una comparación de tamaño entre las sombras y una moneda de $5.00 pesos mexicanos, para comparar. Tenía la intención de hacerla con una moneda de $2.00 pesos pero no tenía NINGUNA en ese momento, trágico.

Size of the shadows

Well here I'm comparing it to a mexican coin, but if you have never seen one in person because you are from a different country well I can honestly tell you that those shadows have a pretty decent size, bigger than Coastal Scents shadows for sureeeeeee.
 

Textura y acabado. 

Como han podido apreciar son tonos bastante variados, combinables y a, juzgar por las imágenes,  bastante metálicos, satinados. Ninguno de ellos presenta pedazos de glitter, todos son en acabado satinado.

Sobre la textura tengo que decirles que todas las sombras metálicas son super suaves y creo que se puede ver en la imagen. Por otro lado, los tonos matte si son difíciles de trabajar.

Texture and finish

As you were able to see in the pictures above this palette has some variety of colors that you can play with and combine them to create either a day look or a night out look. None of them presents chunks of glitter which is good (for me) and all of them (except for the matte ones) are a satin finish.
 

Difuminación.

No son sombras difíciles de trabajar, al contrario, se difuminan fácil debido a que son realmente suaves en su textura.

Blending

The quality of this shadows allows you to difuminate them pretty well, they are soft to the touch and highly pigmented so you can work your way up, be sure to tap off the excess so you can build up the color instead of removing out color.

 

Precio.

En México existen diversas vendedoras a través de FB o páginas que se dedican a revender productos de esta marca. Bien es cierto que en Reino Unido estas paletas no sobrepasan los 6 euros, aquí en México se cotizan de los $220.00 pesos hasta los $550.00 pesos (dependiendo con quien realices tu compra).

Personalmente encontré el mejor precio con Hanami Shop y la recomiendo ampliamente ya que es una vendedora seria, atenta, responsable.

Price

When it comes to the price I definitely think is well worth it, in México there are several sellers through Facebook or websites that have the possibility to sell them to you. Its well known that in UK it's price is really cheap, they are around 6 euros, here in México you can fin them in about $220.00 pesos which in dollars would be 17 dollars and thats priceyyyy. Im sure in the states you can find them for about 7 dollars and they do ship internationally so you can give it a try.

 

Conclusión.

Es una paleta que vale muchísimo la pena, he escuchado que no todas las paletas son iguales pero si te gusta el  terminado de cada sombra de esta, definitivamente es una buena inversión, sino, siempre puedes echarle el ojo a la Au Naturel que es probable sea mi siguiente víctima y así les digo con cuál de las dos me quedaría.

Final thoughts

Overall I'd say this is a well worth the price palette, I've heard not all of them come out as with great pigmentation but I'm happy with the one I got (which in case you forgot its the Storm one), If you dont like the shadows you can definitely check out the Au Naturel from Sleek too.
