Otro nuevo lanzamiento en el departamento cosmético de Sigma, una colaboración con una popular gurú en YouTube, TiffanyD.

A new launch has approached to all of us Sigma lovers and of course if you follow TiffanyD through YouTube then you know what this post is all about. This palette is a colaboration between Sigma Beauty and Tiffany. Keep on reading to peek a bit.

Esta nueva paleta, de edición limitada, llevará por nombre "Defining eyes" y como ya estarán suponiendo es una paleta exclusiva para destacar los ragos que tienen diferentes ojos. 

El lanzamiento oficial de la paleta es el día 26 de Noviembre del 2012, disponible para envío internacional a través del sitio web de Sigma.

TifannyD explicó, a través de una publicación en su blog, que "básicamente lo que quería crear es una paleta que funcionara; una que no fuera la típica neutral que, en algunas ocasiones, se vuelve muy básica y limita los diferentes maquillajes que puedes crear"

Esta paleta está compuesta con tonos naturales, y otros vivídos, además incluirá un folleto con los diferentes maquillajes que puedes crear y demostrando la intención de la paleta.

This new palette is limited edition and it's name is "Defining eyes" as you may be guessing for the name, its indeed a palette thats supossed to give you some tips and tricks to enhance your eyes.

The official launch date is set for November 26th 2012, available for international shipping through Sigma's website.

Defining eyes incluye:

2 delineadores en gel

2 brochas (de doble lado, E55 y E30)

Folleto con los maquillajes e instrucciones PASO A PASO para crear diferentes efectos.

Tengo que hacer incapie en que es la PRIMERA vez que Sigma se aventura a lanzar delineadores en gel, y con el mercado como está abarrotado de ellos habrá que ver qué tal salen al final.

I'm impressed because this is Sigma's first try at making gel liners, we'll see  how that goes.

Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Existen muchas cosas que desconocemos en el mundo del marketing, las ventas y las ahora ventas en línea.

El término Black Friday lo dominamos a la perfección ya que en México tenemos algo 'similar' denominado Buen Fin.

Vamos a adentrarnos un poco y a centrarnos en dos términos que tod@ Toda shopaholic debe de conocer: Black Friday y Cyber Monday.

Black Friday.

Es el Viernes después del Día de Acción de Gracias (Thanksgiving Day) en Estados Unidos que se celebra -comunmente- el cuarto jueves del mes de noviembre. Black Friday es conocido porque es el día en comienza la temporada de compras para las festividades navideñas; es una festividad no oficial, pero nuestros vecinos la toman como tal. Ha sido catalogado como el día más ocupado en el negocio de las ventas en Estados Unidos desde el año 2005 y en donde muchas tiendas como Walmart (que si tenemos en México) abren al público en general o se quedan abiertas las 24 horas del día.

Cyber Monday.

Este es un neologismo (un término nuevo) en marketing que fue inventado por Shop.org. Cyber Monday es conocido por ser uno de los días en que se generan más ventas después del Día de Acción de Gracias y que le sigue muy de cerca a Black Friday. Uno es más común que el otro simplemente por el hecho de que, Cyber Monday es exclusivo para ventas y descuentos en línea, a través de diversos sitios web. Su debut fue en el año 2005, a la par que BF.

Ahí lo tienen, dos días de descuentos en Estados Unidos, uno en tiendas y el otro en línea.

Black Friday (Viernes Negro).

Es otra vez ese día del año en el que nuestros vecinos enloquecen desde dos o tres días antes.

Mis autoregalos, compra con Hanami Shop / My birthday gifts

¡Hola!

Noviembre ya está aquí y es increíble que tan rápido se han pasado los meses, sin embargo estoy muy feliz de estar aquí escribiéndo como cada semana, siempre lo intento aunque en este momento me encuentro trabajando.

Al parecer será un mes muy intenso por acá, mucho trabajo por hacer para poder librar las vacaciones Decembrinas, a pesar de todo y, en especial, de lo pesado que es trabajar corrigiendo archivos por ocho horas el resultado, la satisfacción de hacer un buen trabajo es realmente lo que importa al final de una larga jornada laboral.

Sí de repente no ven alguna publicación nueva, no desesperen, siempre intentaré subir algo que sea de su interés. No he tenido tiempo de hacer reseñas de varios productos que he probado lo que me ha dado más tiempo para testarlos; en breve estaré adelantando todo eso.

Hoy quise pasar a saludarlas, me levanté con muchos ánimos a pesar de que se terminó el puente y la última suspensión laboral que tendré, pero con una sonrisa por estar de vuelta.

Antes de comenzar con el tema de esta semana, dejenme les digo que hoy sólo me delinee los ojos estilo pin up, con una alita, nada de delineador en la línea de agua (línea inferior e interior de las pestañas) y máscara de pestañas con dos productos que he estado amando, el fluidline de MAC en el tono "Blacktrack" y la máscara de pestañas "Ceramidas" de IM, ambos con una gran diferencia en el precio y con excelentes resultados para mí. 

Ahora sí, a lo que nos interesa.

El 17 de agosto tuve la fortuna de cumplir con un año más de vida, ya son 24. Parte de la celebración consistió en consentirme un poco con algunos productos que deseaba tener y probar.

Hello gorgeous.

November is here and it's amazing how fast time goes, however I'm really happy to be here writing like every week, I try althought right now, I'm working.

Apparentely it'll be an intense month over here, lots of things to do so we can have holiday time, despite everything and specially due to the effort that we put onto correcting files for eight hours the result, satisfaction of doing a good job is really what matters at the end.

If sometimes you don't see a new post, do not worry, I'll always try to post something that you may or may not like. I haven't had time to put up a review of some products that I've been trying out which has given me time to try them a lot more, I'll be updating that soon.

Today I wanted to stop by and say hi, I woke up so happy even tho I won't have any day off 'till vacations but with a smile just because im sort of back.

Before I start with todays theme let me tell you that today I only did eyeliner, pin up style with a wing, no eyeliner in my waterline and mascara with two products that I've been loving, MAC's fluidline in "Blacktrack" and a mexican brand mascara called "Ceramidas" by IM, both with a different price range and with the most amazings results I've had.

Now onto the post.

On August 17th I was fortunate enough to be alive for one more year, that means 24. Part of my celebration consisted in treating myself with something or some things lol.
 

Sleek es una marca que tiene su sede central en Reino Unido,es una marca que se describe como sabedora de la importancia del verse y sentirse bien en tu propia piel. 

Tienen una amplia variedad de productos y tonalidades para cada persona, desde la más blanca hasta la mujer de color. Diversidad es lo que caracteriza a la marca y parte de su éxito se debe a la alta pigmentación que ofrecen en sus productos.

Es por eso que me aventuré a hacer un pequeño pedido. Bien es cierto que Sleek es una marca realmente económica, sin embargo, las vendedoras o revendedoras, exageran un poco al ponerle precio a estas maravillas.

Con Hanami Shop yo encontré, de una amplia búsqueda, el mejor precio.

Mi pedido consistió en el Blush By 3 en el tono "Lace" y en la paleta i-Divine "Storm". Lo demás son pequeñas añadiduras, una brocha para difuminar de Coastal Scents y un carterón (clutch) blanco Michael Kors (faux), y lo que pueden ver de Bissú fueron regalos complementarios con mi compra.

Sleek is a brand that has its business in UK. It's a brand that describes itself as the one that knows how important it's to see and feel good on your own skin.

They have a wide variety of products, colors for each and every person and most important, skin color. Diversity is one of their characteristics and part of their success is due to the high pigmentation in t heir productos.

That is why I adventured myself to make a purchase. Its well known that this brand it's cheap in Europe and possibly in the States but here in México it's really 'expensive' but I manage to find the lowest price to make my purchase.

My order consisted in Blush by 3 in "Lace" i-Divine Palette in "Storm", I order a few other things like a Coastal Scents blending brush, a white MK clutch (faux of course) and Bissú which is a mexican cosmetics brand.

Aquí pueden ver los colores, no tan reales del rubor pero sí más de la paleta Storm. El color que se ve del rubor en esta imagen es como se ve en las imágenes del sitio web, sin embargo, en vivo es mucho más intenso, como en la siguiente foto.

Here you can see the non so real colors of that trio but you can see the true colors of the Storm palette. I can tell you that the color thats showing the picture above is kinda of what you see on their website which can be misleading you to buy it (which is what happen to me, but I still love it).

Estos sí son los colores reales, un rosa intenso, un tono rosa/naranja y un naranja precioso, perfecta para primavera verano.

However, the picture above really shows their true colors, an intense bright pink, a rose/gold orangey color and a beautiful matte orange color, perfect for summer.

Aquí hago una pequeña comparación. El rubor de la izquierda es "Life's a peach" comparado con "Crochet" del trío y el de abajo es "Rose Gold" comparado con "Guipure" ambos de Sleek.

Puedo decir, con toda seguridad que, si tienes este trío, no necesitas "Rose Gold" porque son exactamente iguales y ahora que salió el Face Form Kit, el tono "Light" trae otra vez el mismo tono, y ni modos, el bronzer e iluminador valen la pena, pero ese es otro asunto.

Here I did a little comparison. The left blush is "Life's a peach", compared to "Crochet" from the trio and the one on the bottom is "Rose Gold" compared with "Guipure" both from Sleek.

I can honestly tell you that, if you have this trio you DO NOT need "Rose Gold" because they are identical. Now that the "Face Form Kit" in "Light" is out, you can see that the color repeats again.

"Life's a peach" es menos parecido a "Crochet" porque se ven, claramente el tinte naranja que tiene mientras que "Guipure" y "Rose Gold" se ven idénticos sin excepción.

"Life's a peach" is less orange that "Crochet" and you can see that in the picture, but looking at Rose Gold and Guipure no matter where the angle is, they are EXACTLY the same.

Una pequeña brocha para difuminar que se añade a mi kit de brochas, no es la mejor pero sí hace un buen trabajo.

A little blenging brush thats going to be added to my kit, not the best one out there but it does a good job.

Y finalmente, creí que ésta sería una cartera, de tamaño normal y resultó ser un clutch, bueno, una bolsita más a mi colección.

And finally something that I thought would be a wallet, a normal size one and turned out to be a clutch, well I have a new bag in my collection.

Estos fueron algunos de mis autoregalos de cumpleaños. No todos los días cumplo 24 así que hice una comprita para consentirme y la verdad es que estoy encantada con todo, eso sí, tuve que vender "Rose Gold" porque no valía la pena tenerlo duplicado y que mejor que alguien más lo disfrutara.

This were some of my presents, everything was purchased by me with my own money. It's not everyday that a gal like me turns 24 y.o. so I had to spoil myself and Im really thrilled with everything, I did had to sell Rose Gold since there was no point in having two of the same colors in my collection, someone else can use it.

Compras atrasadas: MAC. / MAC Haul

¡Hola hermosuras!

Desde hace ya un par de meses les debía esta entrada. Mi queridísima Andrea Catter me había pedido que les mostrará a través de éste medios las compras que hice de la Colección Reel Sexy de MAC de este año.

Antes de comenzar tengo que decirles que cuando me quiero consentir, lo hago, especialmente porque soy una mujer que trabaja por lo que quiere, no tengo una familia que mantener (pero sí ayudo en casa con los gastos que me corresponden) y sí de ahí me sobra para poder comprarme alguna cosita, con gusto lo hago aunque después me quede sin comer en el trabajo, son los sacrificios, y no por la belleza sino porque me encanta ver, conocer, escribir y contárles sobre las cosas que compro, si vale o no la pena hacer el gasto, de eso se trata este blog, esta comunidad.

A couple of months ago I was supossed to do this entry. Andrea Catter vía Twitter wanted me to show yall what I bought from the Reel Sexy collection from MAC that was released this year (I guess)

Before I start I have to tell you that when I want to splurge on something, I do it, especially because I'm a working woman now and I work for what I want, I don't have a family to mantain but I do help at home by paying some bills and If I have a little bit to splurge on myself I do so even tho I'll be poor 'till my next check arrives LOL and thats a sacrifice I'm willing to do and not only for beauty but because I love to see, to know, to write and tell you all about the things I buy and most important if its worth the money, thats what this blog is about.

He de confesarles que fue mi primer compra en MAC, la emoción se hizo presente en mí, no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad.

Sí me siguen en twitter sabrán que ya se ha expandido mi colección de MAC, es una excelente marca, además, muchos de los productos que ahora poseo son cosas que he querido desde hace años luz cuando era sólo una espectadora más de YouTube (de eso hace ya 5 años, en 2007).

Ahora sí, pasemos con la diversión.

Mi querídisimo amigo Syed Vihe (no es su nombre real) fue quien me hizo el enorme favor de comprar estos productos para mi y enviármelos desde su estado, Puebla.

I have to confess yall that this was my first MAC purchase ever,  MAC is an amazing brand and my collection of their products has be growing the past few months.

Now onto the fun part, my dear friend Syed was the one who did me the favor, he ordered me this things and shipped them to me from his city.

All of the items that I'm presenting are part of the Reel Sexy collection, so these are not available anymore but there are some dupes.

I only purchased three products but It was an amazing purchase.

Dos labiales en acabado "Amplified".

La mayoría de mis labiales de MAC tienen ese acabado y creo que se está convirtiendo en mi favorito.

Most of my MAC lipsticks have that finish and I think is becoming my favorite.

El Mineralize Skin Finish en "Lightscapade" es un artículo repromovido por la marca.

En 2006 salió en la Colección Danse y, haciendo un poco de búsqueda, encontré unas imágenes que muestran la gran diferencia del las venas, en 2006 eran bastante más notorias aunque el color sigue siendo el mismo.

This mineralize skin finish in "Lightscapade" is a repromote.
In 2006 was released in the Danse colecction, and doing a little bit of research I found  that some images show the big difference between the veins but nothing that would look diferent in the swatches.

Este iluminador ha sido denominado como el "Perfect glow"

Es un blanco/dorado (para nada escandaloso) con pequeños (verdaderamente pequeños) reflejos.

El diseño te deja absolutamente SIN PALABRAS, es hermoso sólo con mirarlo 

Posible clon: Meteoritos de Guerlain. 

This highlighter has been denominated as the Perfect glow
It's a white/gold (nothing too scandalous) with little flexs.
It's design is absolutely breathtaking, only by looking at it. 

 Watch me simmer: Un tono coral vibrante que tiene tintes rosas pero una  vez aplicado es un tono coral en su máxima expresión.

A mi parecer, Vegas Volt es un buen clon para Watch Me Simmer.

Watch me simmer: This is a vibrant cora that has a hint of pink but once you have applied it its more of a coral.

To me it looks like Vegas Volt would be a good dupe.

Es un tono que te transporta automáticamente al verano por lo vibrante que se ve en el empaque (la bala) y aplicado aún más.

Its definitely a shade that will take you back to summer because of its vibrancy.

Reel Sexy: Un durazno/naranja con un poco de coral, más naranja y coral que deja un aspecto HERMOSO a los labios.

A mi parecer, Peaches & Cream de Sleek es un posible clon para este labial.

Reel Sexy: It's a peach/orange with a hint of coral, a lot more orange than coral that leaves a beautiful color to the lips.

To me it looks like Peaches & Cream from Sleek is a possible dupe for this.

Debo decirles que éste es mi favorito y no sé que haré cuando lo termine, tendré que buscar un clon y pronto.

I have to tell you that this one is my favorite and I don't know what I'll do once I run out of this one, I have to find a dupe very soon.

This is a pigment sample that came with my order and it's a beautiful green called "Gua-ca-mo-le" It's amazing.

Favoritos de Septiembre / September favorites

Para mí este mes se fue como agua entre las manos, así de rápido. No sé si será porque he empezado a trabajar en un nuevo lugar, por todo el tiempo que he invertido en aprender cómo se manejan las cosas aquí, etcétera, pero para mí, ha volado.

Muchísimas cosas han pasado en este mes y sí me sigues en Twitter y Facebook, te enteras de la mayoría de ellas.

Hacía muchísimo tiempo que no fotografiaba productos favoritos, realmente no lo hacía, siempre eran vídeos, sin embargo, no siempre cambio mis favoritos es por ello que he decidido hacer los favoritos en el blog, ya veremos si nos mantenemos así o los movemos a los vídeos.

For me this month went like water between my hands, that fast. I dont know if it's because I've started working at a new place and all the time I invested in how to handle things around here has just flown by.
Lot's of things had happen this month and If you follow me on Twitter and Facebook you know about them.

A long time passed since I used to take pictures of favorite products, I really didn't do it they were just videos but seeing that I don't always change my products I've decided to turn them into blogposts instead. Let's see if we keep it like this or we move back to videos.

Estos son mis favoritos de éste mes, principalmente el perfume que es el Happy de Clinique lo he estado usando desde que lo compré y fue desde marzo, es mi esencia favorita para el trabajo, ya se está terminando así que es probable que lo compre nuevamente o tenga que encontrar otra, sin embargo considero que lo mejor es buscar un body spray más económico para usar diario y dejar mis perfumes para ocasiones especiales.

Those are my favorite products of the month, especially that perfume which is Happy by Clinique that I've been using it since I bought it back in march, is my favorite scent for work, I'm running low on that one so I'm probably going to repurchase it or find a body spray to substitute that one.

Para los ojos esta ha sido mi selección predilecta para este mes de Septiembre y así comencé el otoño, las máscaras de Avon que estoy utilizando ahí, son fantásticas combinadas, por si solas no me gustan tanto. Las color tattoo de Maybelline son mis productos preferidos y Bold Gold tenía que aparecer ahí porque es un dorado maravilloso y es perfecto para utilizarlo todos los días con sombras neutrales. Mi cuarteto de Starry es de los preferidos y las dos sombras que se muestran ahí han sido mis go to, son las que más utilice este Septiembre. El tintaline de Bissú se convirtió en mi favorito desde el momento en que lo probé por una semana y no he dejado de usarlo, estoy OBSESIONADA, la sombra de Moon Amie en el tono Pixie también es una sombra maravillosa y única, un tono beige claro con destellos azules hermosos que verán esta semana en un tutorial y finalmente dos productos más, un gel para mis cejas que es de Fuller, no es maravilloso pero si mi favorito por ser el único que tengo; el primer también es otro producto que no puede faltar y aunque ya se me está terminando, me fascina el primer de ELF, no es el mejor en el mercado pero hace un magnífico trabajo a un buen precio.

The picture above show you my favorites for the eyes and thats how I started this fall, those Avon mascaras I'm using them combined because individually they don't do much for my lashes. Maybelline and  their color tattoo line has definitely been a favorite since I got them but Bold Gold is one that I can't live without especially this time of the year. 
For eyeshadow I've been using those 2 colors from my little Starry palette. The eyeliner is from Bissú a mexican brand that developed something called Tintaline a creamy waterproof formula for your eyes, its amazing and the 01 which is a black one has been my staple.
Moon Amie's eyeshadow in Pixie has also been a great one to use on those days where I just want a hint of color on my lids, I love its beige tone with blue flex, kinda unique tho and for my brows I've been using a gel to keep them in place, its a product that cannot leave my side. ELF eye primer is amazing for everyday use and I'm running low on that one but I do have a backup waiting haha, its not the best one out there but it does the job.

Para mis labios estos tres productos son fenomenal. Primero el EOS en Mint por su aroma y sabor además de lo que hace por mis labios es un excelente producto. Ahora para darle color a mis labios estuve usando muchísimo el gloss de Essence en el tono Berry Me un tono excelente para el otoño y combinado con el Tintaline de Bissú es MARAVILLOSO.

For lips three staples this september have been EOS in Mint and because of it's smell and taste is amazing, it does good things for my lips, keeping them soft and sometimes exfoliates them, weird huh, but true, just put it on, gently rub a toothbrush onto your lips and voilá :D. Now to give a little bit of color to my lips I've been loving that Essence lipgloss and if you know me you also know that I'm not a big fan of glosses but that one is amazing and If the other ones are like that one then im sold to the. Finally I combine that lipgloss with Bissú Tintaline and its WONDERFUL.

Para el rostro estuve utilizando sin parar esta combinación excelente. El rubor número 2 de Bissú que es mi favorito, el corrector de Adara París que brinda una excelente cobertura y me encanta el tono, la Intense Classic Balm BB Cream de Skin79 que le brinda un aspecto muy saludable a mi piel y que además tiene una excelente cobertura y por su fuera poco, mi favorito de todos es, por supuesto, mi iluminador de MAC en el tono Lightscapade (edición limitada), lo usé como iluminador y algunas veces para sellar la BB Cream y quedé impactada con lo que ayudó a controlar la producción de grasa de mi piel, valen muchísimo la pena.

For my face I've been using NON STOP this combo. Blush number 2 from Bissú which is my favorite, Adara Paris concealer which has excelent pigmentation and Intense Classic Balm BB Cream from Skin79 which gives my face a healthy aspect besides it has great coverage and most important my highlighter in Lightscapade which I have been using it as a highlighter or setting powder, I cannot say bad things about this one because I love it.

Y el gran final es mi esmalte de Collection, no tiene tono pero es un naranja justo como me gustan, es fantástico, tiene una excelente cobertura con tan sólo una capa, el color es maravilloso, y sobretodo muuuuuy económico. Si tiene la oportunidad de probarlos, los encuentran en Walmart, yo estoy enamorada de este color y lamento mucho que lo encontré ya pasado el Verano porque lo hubiese usado muchísimo.

And for the grand finale, my Collection nailpolish, theres no name in them but it's just an orange, a pretty amazing orange that I love to death :D excellent coverage with just one coat and super, extremely cheap, for you gals in USA, less than a dolar. If you ever see them I got it at Walmart.
